It has been a spectacular experience visiting the different 2013 Barrett-Jackson auctions this year, and most recently, Barrett-Jackson Las Vegas. Flashy classic cars reminiscent of the Rat Pack Days were spotted everywhere, as well as newer collectibles that are favorites of movie stars and sports players that frequent The Las Vegas Strip. The electrifying Vegas atmosphere filled the air the entire weekend with 70,000 people in attendance.

As expected, the Barrett-Jackson Las Vegas auction is a star-studded event. Seeing one of the original funny cars raced by Don “The Snake” Prudhomme and a Plymouth Duster raced by Tom “The Mongoose” McEwen on display was a real treat. And, Siegfried and Roy were spotting raising money for their SAMORTI foundation and local police department’s K9 unit. I also had the pleasure of running into some ADESA Tulsa customers from RPM Motorsports and Alvin Jackson Used Cars.

To make for an even more exciting weekend, ADESA Las Vegas celebrated their second anniversary with an Anniversary Sale and Harley-Davidson dealer sale. To commemorate the energy that Barrett-Jackson brings to their community, the auction was decked out in Barrett-Jackson’s signature red and black colors, dealers were greeted with gift bags, and their sale day was filled with some great motorcycles and other special classics.
