Each year, a group of women in the remarketing industry that display exemplary leadership and career achievements receive a prestigious honor selected by their peers. I am proud to congratulate Lisa Scott, senior vice president, ADESA Canada and OPENLANE, on being named one of thirteen women in the 2013 class of Women in Remarketing. Her leadership skills and natural ability to motivate team members makes Lisa a worthy recipient of this recognition.

Since beginning her well-rounded career at ADESA Halifax as an auctioneer, Lisa’s work ethic and industry experience have helped her advance through several roles, including general manager at ADESA Halifax and vice president of sales for ADESA Canada. In her current role with ADESA Canada and OPENLANE, Lisa implemented the first training program for ADESA auction staff on OPENLANE technology to ensure they can provide knowledgeable customer service.

Whether it’s in business, sports or her personal life, she brings a special mix of enthusiasm and unparalleled initiative to everything she does. Customers appreciate her service-oriented approach, candor, friendliness and ability to get the job done. For Lisa, the most important part of her job is making sure those around her “feel the love.”

Congratulations again to Lisa and each nominee of the 2013 class of Women in Remarketing.
