Barrett-Jackson’s inaugural auction in the Northeast recently wrapped up, and it surpassed all expectations. Held in a sold-out arena in Uncasville, Connecticut, the three-day event sold over 500 vehicles for a total of more than $25 million.

As a sponsor of Barrett-Jackson, ADESA was thrilled to be part of the excitement.

ADESA guests enjoyed being part of the crowd, and many bid on—and won—a few of the classic and customized vehicles auctioned on the block.

Michael Riggins and Michael Chambers—both award-winning auctioneers who regularly serve at ADESA’s Northeast auctions—were asked to jump in as ringmen in the crowd.

Joe Riley, an ADESA customer and guest, bought a one-of-a-kind 2015 Jeep Wrangler Sahara—meticulously detailed by designer Shelly Brown —in a charity auction. The sale of this vehicle raised $120,000 for Zac Brown Band’s Camp Southern Ground, a non-profit camp that allows children to overcome academic, social and emotional difficulties.

We couldn’t have wished for a more successful event and can’t wait to attend Barrett-Jackson’s signature Las Vegas auction in October.
