ADESA Canada is gearing up for not one, but two great industry conferences—Auto Remarketing Canada 2019 and the Women & Automotive Canadian Leadership Forum—all within a three-day span at the beautiful Westin Harbour Castle hotel in downtown Toronto.

From speaking engagements to awards ceremonies, we’ll be highly involved in both events as we celebrate the industry and the incredible people who lead it.

Auto Remarketing Canada Conference 2019 | March 19-20

Up first is the 2019 Auto Remarketing Canada (ARC) Conference, which will kick off with a new offering—Dealer Training Tuesday on March 19 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Dealer Training Tuesday

Sponsored by ADESA and our family of companies, Dealer Training Tuesday is a series of workshops and sessions featuring dealership sales tips, tricks and tactics from some of the industry’s top experts—all at no additional cost to ARC attendees. Dealer sales teams would be remiss to pass up this great, free educational opportunity.

Speaking Engagements

We’re excited to have two speakers participating in workshops and panel discussions at ARC 2019.

During a 10 a.m. panel discussion on March 20—day two of the conference—Chris Stickley, ADESA Canada senior director of dealer sales and marketing, will leverage his 25 years of automotive experience to give an expert perspective on the current state of auction values, wholesale used supply and innovative auction technology.

Later that day at 1:30 p.m., Steve Langdon, VP of dealer sales at TradeRev, will host a session called “Adopting a 360 Approach for Your Remarketing Strategy.” His interactive workshop will help dealers:

  • Learn best practices for implementing a 360-remarketing strategy for sourcing and selling used vehicle inventory
  • Understand what channels are available to buy and sell the best used vehicles
  • Walk away with innovative tools that can be applied immediately

In between Chris and Steve’s speaking engagements on day two of ARC 2019, Auto Remarketing Canada will hold its Remarketing’s Under 40 Luncheon & Awards ceremony. This year, ADESA Canada is proud to celebrate two honorees:

  • Dan Leslie | Business Development Manager
  • Hilton Lee | Mobile Software Engineering Manager

I congratulate Dan and Hilton on their much-deserved recognitions.

Women & Automotive Canadian Leadership Forum | March 21

The day after ARC 2019, we’ll reconvene in the hotel ballroom once more—this time for the Women & Automotive Canadian Leadership Forum, a celebration the automotive industry in Canada and the amazing women who lead it.

Among these incredible women is ADESA Canada HR Manager Lynn Martin—who will be recognized during the awards luncheon after being named a 2019 Profiles in Leadership honoree by Auto Remarketing Canada earlier this year.

We’re excited to attend and participate in these two great conferences celebrating the remarketing industry in Canada. I hope you’ll join us in Toronto.
