ADESA Canada was thrilled to be a sponsor of the 2nd annual Women & Automotive Canadian Leadership Forum. The forum took place directly following the Automotive Remarketing Canada Conference. This one-day event gives women the opportunity to network, share insights, hear from female leaders within the automotive industry and much more.

Kim Miller of ADESA Toronto and Michelle Mullins of Impact Auto Auctions were among 15 industry women honored at the awards ceremony for their inclusion in Auto Remarketing’s Women & Automotive: Profiles in Leadership feature.

Topics at the day’s sessions ranged from sharing advice on being a mentor to discussing how many women are successful leaders in a traditionally male-dominated industry. Kim and Michelle were both part of the Profiles in Leadership panel. The panel discussion focused on effective tools for leadership, team engagement, the panelists’ paths to leadership and what has made them successful leaders.

Last year, ADESA was fortunate to have one of our key female leaders participate in a panel discussion, too. Sheryl Watson was able to lend her knowledge and expertise to an important discussion and had nothing but positive feedback about the first event. It is an honor that ADESA was able to participate for the second consecutive year. It is reflective of how many talented female leaders we have on our team.

It was inspiring to see so many colleagues dedicated to paving the way for the future of female leadership in the automotive industry. We are already looking forward to next year’s event.
