Last month, several of ADESA’s women leaders gathered with other top executives from the automotive remarketing industry at the tenth annual Women of Remarketing (WOR) conference in San Diego. Created in 2002 by Debbie Vaughn, executive sales director at ADESA, the conference has become the only networking and professional development event exclusively for women in the industry. My exciting experience at the WOR conference in Arizona last year proves that these women are fearless trailblazers.

Debbie, Summer Ernsberger, Nicole Guio and Jane Morgan from ADESA headquarters, Victoria Kessler of ADESA Pennsylvania and Colleen Parks of ADESA Cleveland joined other attendees in San Diego to discuss the future of the industry, share best practices and discuss new strategic partnerships created during the past year. The group also took park in innovative team-building and work-life balance activities. And, they took advantage of their locale with a wine tasting at Bernardo Winery.

Events like WOR give the women in our industry the chance to network and exchange ideas. Through WOR, Debbie has created a collaborative environment that promotes camaraderie among the women leaders of our industry.
