Car enthusiasts are some of the most passionate people on the planet, exemplified last month by the rain-soaked attendees at Artomobilia 2018—an annual car show held in the Arts & Design District of downtown Carmel, Indiana, right down the road from the headquarters for ADESA and our parent company, KAR Auction Services.

As a longtime presenting sponsor of this event, hundreds of car-loving KAR and ADESA employees and customers braved the weather to volunteer, marvel at and exhibit more than 400 enthusiast and collector cars—including original, period-correct classic cars, Indiana-built cars, supercars, sedan/coupes, exotic cars, racers, sports cars and more.

An awards ceremony culminated in trophies for Best in Show, Best in Class and the Artomobilia Penultimate, each of which were presented by ADESA and our sister company TradeRev.

The winning vehicles included a 1941 Cadillac 60S Fleetwood and a 1967 Austin Healey BJ8, which received Best in Show and Penultimate honors, respectively.

To close out the weekend, SHIFT—a poker-run–style rally—toured two dozen supercars along the wet and winding roads of Central and Southern Indiana. Among the SHIFT participants were KAR Executive Legal Assistant Lesley Farner, KAR COO Don Gottwald and TradeRev Executive VP Keith Crerar.

We’re looking forward to the next octane-filled Artomobilia. Check out some of our favorite photos from this year’s event below.
