Last weekend, we really enjoyed connecting with customers and industry peers at the 2013 NADA Convention & Expo. It was a great opportunity to also share some of our big plans for 2013 and offer a preview of our upcoming technology and marketplace investments.

In addition to networking with friends and peers, we had the opportunity to repeat one of our favorite activities from last year’s conference and host a charity motorcycle auction to support the NADA Foundation and Canine Companions for Independence. As the auction time approached on Sunday, a crowd of potential bidders and onlookers gathered around a beautiful 2011 Harley-Davidson Fat Boy. Whether hosted at an auction or on a tradeshow floor, live bidding creates a unique level of excitement. You could really feel the energy at our booth as the auction commenced.

Congratulations to auto industry consultant Joe Verde, president of Joe Verde Sales and Management Training in San Juan Capistrano, California, on his winning bid of $26,000 and his new 2011 Harley-Davidson Fat Boy. As part of a four-generation family of veterans, his generosity will benefit the Wounded Veterans Initiative of CCI with true appreciation for their service.

If you weren’t able to join us, NADA put together the great video below capturing the excitement of the auction and the NADA Convention. Thank you again to Joe and the NADA attendees for helping us exceed last year’s donation and making the weekend a rewarding experience.
